Why this is not one model's answer
- No single operator sets the number. The median comes from 6,502 independent neurons, each running its own model on its own hardware.
- Every neuron is scored against the price that prints 24 hours later, and paid on how close it was, so being wrong costs. The median is what the network itself said. Nothing here weights it, edits it, or picks a favourite.
- The width of the crowd is the network disagreeing with itself. A narrow band is a stronger signal than a bold midpoint.
